CandyCan is a wellness brand that launched in 2021 with a focus on developing functional candy products. Because their products would be primarily competing on-shelf next to more traditional supplements, we chose to emphasize the fun (and yummy) nature of their products through the use of vibrant colors, appetizing illustrations, and typography inspired by old-school candy packaging.
In order to represent the product on-pack, we created a series of realistic custom gummy illustrations to help convey a sense of appetite appeal and clearly communicate the range of fruity flavors inside each bag. The different background patterns add a sense of dimension and relate to the functionality of the product (e.g. calm waves for sleep, a radial pattern for focus.)
Following the initial branding and packaging design, we created a variety of other fun brand assets, ranging from shippers to social posts to merch.
Lastly, we created a custom e-commerce site to highlight all of the unique product benefits and science-backed ingredients. Check it out here.
